Aiducation International is an education charity that raises scholarships for talented but needy students in Kenya and in Asia.

We recently met the co-founders of Aiducation International, Kristin and Florian Kapitzka and just had to share their inspiring story with you. Read more on the fantastic job their non-profit is doing in Kenya.

How does it work?

The local Aiducation Chapter selects top students by assessing applications through a rigorous screening and interview process.

How can I help?

Profiles of applicants who are accepted into the program are uploaded to their database where you can select a student whose achievements and goals inspire you.

How much is a scholarship?

The costs of a scholarship are an annual fee of CHF 600 over a period of 4 years.

Do they have a geographic focus?

It all started in Kenia but in late 2010 they started expanding into Asia.

Why scholarships for high potentials?

Considering the apparently 40 Million talented and motivated students per year worldwide that don’t have access to high-school, Aiducation’s aim is to enable those talents to unleash their potential, which in the end might also help to realize their countries’ full potential.

What makes Aiducation so special?

We particularly like the fact that 100% of the scholarship fees raised are spent on education.
In addition, donors, so-called « AiduMakers » are continuously kept informed about their scholar’s progress and academic achievements. So, you don’t just give money but see how your money helps to make a difference to someone’s life.
