Courtney Prince designs these awesome handmade one of a kind statement necklaces and cuffs for her label « Doloris Petunia », which she named after her Maltese.
Courtney managed an amazing career makeover when she left her corporate design job for a successful career as jewelry and accessories designer.
Her story is truly amazing and inspiring as it reads like a modern fairytale. From selling on a card box table on the streets of New York City in Soho and West Village neighborhoods her stunning designs paved their way into famous fashion and lifestyle magazines and appeared on the red carpet at the Emmy’s 2009 – within less than a year’s time. And, all this instant success without the help of a PR consultant or powerful connections. But, Courtney for sure has got great talent and you can see and feel that she is truly passionate about what she does!
Courtney’s story began as with many other entrepreneurs: she couldn’t really find what she was looking for and began making her own jewelry. Soon after she received orders of custom made pieces from friends then friends of friends. Due to the demand she decided to give it a try, quit her corporate design job and began selling on the streets of New York.
And even tough she got very successful in almost no time she too reached the point where she almost quit. Luckily she didn’t!

Kara did her first bracelet while she was still at high-school. She did it for her mother Bonnie – her biggest fan and first customer. Thus, it was kind of logical that she named her company after her mom. We can't wait to see more of her designs as she for sure is talented.

«Made by Sam » is the hip label doing this gorgeous jewelry. Sisters Sam and Kelly are designing the jewelry and running the business together. Both are still studying Administration at York University as their father wants them to take over his business back in Vietnam.
Since her early childhood Sam has had a passion for handmade stuff. And she for sure is talented. Sam says they inherited the design skills from their mother.
Fascinated by a visit to a bead store near her house Sam started designing jewelry for herself. Thanks to Etsy she started making jewelry for everyone. She says that every piece of her jewelry means a lot to her. And, you literally see and feel the passion for her designs.
Most of Sam’s jewelry is inspired by nature. She loves flowers, trees, leaves, branches, birds... And what she comes up with is amazing. Her Etsy shop is a treasure trove and it is difficult to decide what to choose. But her jewelry is truly affordable. So, no need to break the bank to get some of Sam’s unique fashion jewelry. We just love it!
