Elizabeth Olsen established her edgy fashion brand olsenHaus for 100% vegan eco friendly footwear for women.

After spending time in Malaysia, Italy, South America and Asia as well as working as the creative director at Tommy Hilfiger and designing amongst others for Calvin Klein and Nine West, Elizabeth felt the need for a different move.

As a convinced vegetarian for more than 20 years and as an animal rights and sustainable living activist for many years, the start-up of her own animal and environmentally friendly business appeared to be a logical consequence. According to Elizabeth’s auto- biography she « wouldn’t be caught dead in fur or leather ». Thus, she established olsenHaus, her company for 100% vegan footwear.

olsenHaus offers you the opportunity to make a difference but in style – without sacrifices. To quote Elizabeth « It is all about style, truth, and the shift in consciousness to a new luxury ».

At olsenHaus only non-animal environmentally friendly materials such as ultra suede, velvet, organic cotton, canvas, nylon etc. are used. And, you won’t miss anything. Her designs are really hot and you will have difficulties making up your mind. We for example just love her Gladiator sandals!

PAMPUSCHEN is the label that makes these gorgeous slippers for women designed by German footwear and accessories fashion designer Julia Gensel.

After her shoemaker apprenticeship at the Bavarian State Opera in Munich and finishing her footwear and accessories design studies at Cordwainers College in London, Julia worked amongst others as a senior designer for Tod's/Milan and Unützer/Munich.

After realizing a need for some fashionable yet comfortable slippers, Julia decided to create her own label to make her dream of the perfect shoe for home a reality. In 2005 PAMPUSCHEN gave its debut.

For us at know what and where .com it was literally love at first sight when we first spotted the beautiful PAMPUSCHEN flats. They are beautiful yet very useful shoes for home that keep our feet warm but in style. A perfect match!

The collections are named « cool cotton », « cozy wool », « de luxe » or « sweet velvet » and indicate the types and qualities of materials used. The design is great and PAMPUSCHEN offers you quite some variety to choose from.

Our favorites are the flats « GRACE » with floral toppings, the incredibly soft « LARA » flats with Pompoms and the very stylish woolen « LIV » flats with some extra glitz and sparkle – unfortunately a limited edition for Xmas.

Isn’t it great to have stylish footwear to wear at home? Slippers that keep your feet warm without ruining your look? We like the combination of high quality, comfortable and chic footwear - slippers that make us look and feel great.
